Started in a garage in 2011. Now the shopfitter national retail brands call when the deadline is the hard part.
Jason Palmer started Palmer & Co in 2011 as a small ceiling and partitioning business, run out of a garage. There was no grand plan beyond doing the work properly and showing up when we said we would. Fifteen years on, that's still the whole strategy: it's just applied to bigger jobs now.
Today we're a shopfitting, design and project management company operating nationwide, with teams out of Johannesburg and Cape Town. The projects have gotten more complex. What hasn't changed is who's accountable when something needs fixing: us, directly, not a subcontractor three calls removed.
Full turnkey means exactly that. One team, from first sketch to final handover.
The people who answer the phone are the same people who show up on site.
Every handover is backed by a site team that shows up early and gets the details right. Edson, Teddy, Chris, Eric, Donald, Womtshilani and Borne are the crew actually doing the installation, every day, on site.
